Visitation Guidelines - Attorneys
All visiting attorneys must have the following forms of identification:
1. Valid driver’s license
If you are requesting to visit a family member you may not visit as a professional visitor; you may visit only as a personal/regular visitor. You must have proof from the court that you represent the family member to be allowed a professional visit. However, if the offender has not been arraigned, Commander approval is required.
You are allowed to take in briefcases, folders, paper, pen, or any other reasonable information needed for legal reasons. A Central Control officer will inspect the materials.Attorney client visits will commence immediately once the offender is available. Any attorney of record shall be allowed to visit his client at all reasonable times except meal times (5:15 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.; 10:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; and, 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.), both daytime and evenings when the Receptionist / Central Control are available as dictated by jail safety and security needs.
