    The 2006 SRT Competition was held on September 16, 2006.  Twelve teams comprising of 66 officers competed for top prizes to include representing the State of Ohio at the national competition. 

    The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections was the overall winner in the four-course event, entitling them to represent the State of Ohio in national competition events to be held in Florida.  Placing second was the Medina County Sheriff's Department followed by the Findlay Police Department in third place.

    The event began with a flag raising ceremony followed by the obstacle course relay event.  A demonstration was added to this year's program. CCNO, the Findlay Police Department and the St. Vincent’s Life Flight Tactical EMS team participated in a mock bus assault and medical extraction.  The day concluded with firearm competitions and award presentations.
